The 4th annual Georgia STEM Day is rapidly approaching, and we are thrilled that you have chosen to participate! STEM skills are vital for students who want to be successful in our 21st century workforce, and being part of Georgia STEM Day is just one more way to get students excited about a future STEM career.
This year, we hope to engage more participants than ever before, so be sure to invite your friends and colleagues! By registering for Georgia STEM Day, you are helping to raise awareness about the importance of STEM learning and the opportunities available through STEM education. You are also now eligible for prizes and will receive information about the Georgia STEM Education Awards.
Prize Update: Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, including the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Aquarium, registered participants are eligible for several prize giveaways in celebration and recognition of the 4th annual Georgia STEM Day!
How to Get Involved:
Principals/ Superintendents: Encourage each teacher in every subject to celebrate science, technology, engineering, and math in a creative way.
Teachers: Incorporate fun and innovative STEM activities into your classroom onMay 6, 2016 or invite STEM professionals to speak to your students.
Students: Get excited about STEM and join in your classroom's STEM Day activities! Find out more ways you can get involved in STEM learning outside of school.
Companies & Organizations: Volunteer to speak at a local school about your exciting STEM career, host a field trip for local students to your business, or partner with TAG-Ed to promote STEM Day and help provide resources for Georgia schools!
Everyone: Help spread the word by posting the STEM Day logo, linking to theSTEM Day landing page, and using the hashtag #GASTEMDay on your social media channels.
