CAR WASH FOR A CURE
Volunteers needed to wash cars on Saturday, 9/26 between 9am - 11pm. Sign up for a 2 hour shift here. Proceeds will go to fight childhood cancer.
A few more hands are still needed (especially with break down and clean up at the end of the evening) for Dinner On The Bricks benefiting The Vashti Center on Saturday, 9/26. Volunteer and experience all the festivities firsthand. Click for more information.
Looking to clean out your closets and garage? Donate your gently used clothes, toys, furniture, appliances, etc. to any of the following worthy organizations:
- Dog Tag SS, offering services for veterans. Email.
- JSL Bargain Bazaar,benefiting local kids. Info here.
- Miss Kitty's Fabulous Finds benefiting the no-kill feline sanctuary, and the Spay & Neuter Clinic. Click for info.
- Halcyon Home Thrift Store benefiting the shelter for battered women. Click for info.
The Salvation Army seeks volunteers to staff their thrift store on Fridays between 9:30am - 3:30pm.
