This week in Gifted Class we are beginning Lesson #4 Part A (Ask, Imagine, Create). We are listening to Set #1 of real bird calls.
Red Ribbon Week is October 24-28 for the Thomasville City School system.
The following activities will take place for Scott’s RRW.
Dress Up Days
a. Monday-Throw SHADE to drugs- Wear sunglasses
b. Tuesday- My Future is Bright Without Drugs- Dress as what you want to be when you grow up. “Dress for Success”
c. Wednesday- Follow your Dreams and say NO to drugs- Wear appropriate PJs- robe, slippers, etc.
d. Thursday- Celebrate Red Ribbon Week- Wear Red
e. Friday- Join the Team Against Drugs- Wear your favorite sports team attire
K-2nd grade- Why is it important to make healthy choices? What are some examples of healthy choices
3-5th- Why is it important to be drug free?
*One winner from every grade will be chosen. The winners will eat pizza with Mr. Beaty.
This activity can be done during free time at school or as a homework assignment.
Essays are due by Friday, October 28th. They may begin them as soon as today.
We are working on Lesson #3 "Seeing Sounds" this week (EiE Acoustical Engineering Unit).
